Overview
This policy applies to paid engagements with Apphemlockhub Co., Ltd. for balance confirmation worksheets, signing ceremony documentation, quarterly reconciliation sessions, and worksheet audits.
Deposit refunds
A 50% deposit is required upon engagement letter signature. Deposits are fully refundable if you cancel in writing more than 14 calendar days before the scheduled intake date.
Deposits are non-refundable if:
- Cancellation occurs within 14 days of the scheduled intake date
- You cancel after draft worksheet delivery has begun
- You fail to provide required xpub metadata within 30 days of intake without requesting an extension
Full engagement refunds
After intake begins, fees are generally non-refundable because we allocate specialist time and begin worksheet preparation immediately.
Exceptions — full refund of remaining balance (deposit excluded):
- We are unable to complete the engagement due to our error or staffing unavailability
- Material scope change requested by us that you decline
Partial refunds
Partial refunds may apply when:
- You cancel after draft delivery but before binding — 40% of the remaining balance refunded
- Ceremony facilitation is cancelled by you within 7 days of the ceremony date — facilitation day rate is non-refundable; binder preparation fees refunded at 50%
Non-refundable items
- Completed and bound worksheet deliveries
- Courier and shipping charges once dispatched
- On-site travel days where our facilitator has already departed for your location
- Third-party notarization or translation fees we paid on your behalf
Rescheduling
Intake calls and reconciliation sessions may be rescheduled once without penalty if requested at least 5 business days in advance. Ceremony dates may be rescheduled once with 14 days notice; a ₩150,000 rescheduling fee applies within 14 days.
No-shows
Missing a scheduled intake call or on-site session without 24 hours notice forfeits the session fee. One courtesy reschedule is offered per engagement.
Work already started
If you terminate an engagement after draft delivery, you receive the draft materials in their current state. No refund applies to work completed.
Purchased materials
Acid-free archival stock, binding, and courier materials purchased specifically for your engagement are non-refundable once ordered.
Refund process
Submit refund requests to hello@apphemlockhub.click with your engagement letter reference. We acknowledge within 3 business days and process approved refunds within 14 business days to the original payment method.
Disputes
If you disagree with a refund decision, reply to our written response within 10 business days. We will review with a second team member and provide a final determination.
